Is it needed to register to shop at the Dampking?

It is not necessary to register at the Dampkring shop to place orders, however it is an option to register and become a member.
 
Registering with us will give you additional options like, download & print your invoices online; remember address and other information during concurrent orders; get additional information only for members; use your account to access our forums.
 
If you don't want to register with us, select the 'Easy order'  option in our order form. If you want to register or login use the other options.

I have forgotten my account password

To be reminded of your password simply follows the next steps:
 
Click the 'My Dampkring' option at the top sub menu of our site.
At the login page, click the link 'Forgotten Password?'. You will be asked for your email address that you used for your account. Your password will be sent to your mail box.
 
Although we send the password immediately, it may be the case that you will not receive it instantly due to a delay between our mail server and your ISP/mail server. Also make sure the password mail is not received in your spam folder.
 
If you have repeatedly attempted to log in to your account, you account may have been blocked for security reasons.

Change contact details and personal information

We provide our customers with an easy way to keep all of their contact details up to date through the 'My Dampkring' section in this site.
 
You can access 'My Dampkring' at any time by clicking the link found in the top sub menu. Once you are logged in, you can choose to manage your contact details, addresses, orders and more.
 
It is the responsibility of our customers to keep all their details updated on our website. This ensures we send communication to the right address and deliver the products goods to the right place.

Change email address or login details

This article explains how to change your registered email address log in details. Please note that you need to know your old details to change them. First you need to log into your  account by clicking the 'My Dampkring' link at the top sub menu of this site. Change your personal data and select the 'update settings' button to store your changes.

Unable to login with your account

If you attempt to log into your account unsuccessfully for x times (depending on the shop administrators settings), your account will be locked for security reasons.
 
Please contact us when you account is locked using the online contact/help form.
 
When you forgot your password, please use the ‘Forgot password’ link found on every login page.

Removal from mailing list requests

When you are a registered customer you can easily select or deselect the mailings in the 'My Dampkring' section in the site (top sub menu).
 
When you are not a registered customer, you may change or unsubscribe from the mailing list by using the 'Change mailing registration settings or unsubscribe' link found at the end of each mailing you received from us.

Obtaining an invoice copy

An invoice is presented after each order and is also mailed to your mailbox. Invoices are also available online for registered customers.
 
If you used the 'Easy order' option during the order process your invoices are not available online.
 
When you are a registered customer, log into your account using the 'My Dampkring' link on the top sub menu of the site. You will be presented with your personal settings and orders, now select the 'My orders' link and a page containing your orders will be presented.

Ordering & managing orders
Only part of the order has arrived

It can happen that one or more products from your order are out of stock and sometimes we ship the available products first. If this happens you will be contacted and informed first.
 
Sometimes if necessary we will ship an order using multiple boxes. This can happen for a variety of reasons.  For example if you order a product that will remain in the manufacturer's box.

Cancelling or changing orders

Orders can be changed or cancelled offline by contacting us by phone or e-mail, always keep your order details at hand (order number, name, etc.).
 
Orders are only cancellable or changeable as long as they are not shipped.

Delivery to a work or other address

It is possible to have a different shipping address from your invoice address, select this option during the order process.
 
Tax will be calculated for the invoice country (country of payment).

Changing your delivery or invoice address

If you use the 'Easy order' option then you can select/create the addresses during the order process.
 
Members can change their (default) addresses at the 'My Dampkring' section found in the top sub menu in the site.

Checking your order status

After placing an order you will be kept up to date by email, every order step (placed, paid, shipped, changed, backorder etc.) will be mailed to you.
 
Registered customers can also log into their account and follow their orders online.

Confirming your order has been placed

When you placed an order you will get an order confirmation by e-mail, if you used the member registration options during the order process then you can also check your orders online with your member account.

Has my order been shipped?

When your order is shipped you will be notified by mail at least one day before delivery (depending on shipping distance).
 
If you are a member and used the member options during ordering then you can check your order status online. A shipped order will contain a 'Shipped' tag.

How can I track my order during delivery?

Depending on the shipping method you choose you may get a tracking number which can be used to track your order during transit. This information is always emailed to you when the shipment process started.

I received an order but products are missing

It is possible that we sent only part of the order because one or more products are not in stock, the rest will be shipped separately when the missing products are back in stock again. However, when this happens you will be always contacted/notified first.
 
If you are missing products because you believe there was a mistake please contact us by phone or mail.

Returning products, return policy

Products faulty on arrival
If you are reporting faulty goods within 14 days of receipt, and when the goods are returned to us complete, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method.
 
Products damaged in transit
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 7 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt it is best to sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged goods have been collected and received back in our shop, we will issue a full refund or send you new products.
 
Products faulty in warranty period
If you are reporting faulty goods after 28 days of receipt, then provided your product is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. In some cases manufacturers provide a special full on-site service and or telephone help facility for your convenience which of course, we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly. This does not affect your rights to claim against us  if the goods do not conform to the contract and the manufacturer does not repair or replace the goods or offer you an alternative remedy.

Navigating products

Our shop is divided in three main sections (Head shop, Seed shop and Seed shop), use these main section to navigate these shops. In each main section there are tools to find products (Search products, product directory lists, etc.). Use the extended search to search products by categories, attributes, tags and text/keywords.

Ordering products

Ordering products is easy, first navigate or search products and then use the 'Add product to cart' or the 'Order now' options.
 
When using the shopping cart, first add all the products you want to order into your cart and then select the 'checkout' button to place and finalize your order.

Placing orders

If you want to order just one product then you can use the 'Order now' option found at each product.
 
When you want to order a list of products then use the shopping cart to make a product list to order. Insert products with the 'Add to cart' option found at every product and then select the 'Checkout' button to place the order.
 
In the checkout system you will be asked for shipping/invoice addresses, shipping methods and payment methods.

Print pages & products

Use this for printing pages and products, this option is found in the tools menu on the top right of this site.

Mail pages or products

Use this tool to email pages or products to friends, family, etc.; this option is found in the tools menu on the top right of this site.

Add product & pages to your favorites

Use the ‘add to favorites’ tool to add pages or products into your browsers favorites, this option is found in the tools menu on the top right of this site.

Website, shop sitemap

Use this option to view a sitemap of the site, this option is found in the tools menu on the top right of this site.

Product & content search

Use this tool to search products and content using categories, attributes and keywords. This option is found in the tools menu on the top right of this site.

News letter / mailing lists

Use this tool to subscribe or unsubscribe for our mailing lists. This tool is found on the top sub menu of this site.

My Dampkring & Track orders

My Dampkring and track orders contain personal settings and information. These options are only available for registered members. The  ‘My Dampkring’ pages can be found on the top sub menu of this site.
