Ocean’s Twelve - Dampkring Coffee Shop

'The Dampkring Coffee shop' is well known by many as the most famous coffee shop in Amsterdam and for that matter probably the world! Situated in the Spui area very close to Amsterdam's other major tourist attraction- 'The Flower Market' the Dampkring is a must visit for most smokers that come to the city. 

The Dampkring Coffee shop boosts an extra special look and vibe, the newly decorated interior is a stuningly beautiful array of swirling colours and shapes, guaranteed to stimulate the senses even without the help of anything to smoke. Both inside and outside are moulded, sculpted, studded and painted making the overall effect quite stunning.

It's this extraordinary décor that makes Dampkring coffee shop stand out from the crowd, and it was standing out that caught the attention of the Hollywood producers that used the Coffeeshop to shoot scenes from the well known 'Ocean's Twelve' movie starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney. During the days of shooting the film Dampkring Coffeeshop was a buzz with celebrities and fans desperate to get a photo or at least a glimse of their favourite actors. 

Ocean's Twelve is a 2004 film that takes place after the events of Ocean's Eleven, a remake of the 1960 film. Like its predecessor, the film is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars an ensemble cast. The film was released in the United States on December 10, 2004.

The heist hijinks of the first film come to roost for a team of eleven thieves (including the glossy mugs of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, and Don Cheadle), who find themselves pursued not only by the guy they robbed (silky Andy Garcia), but also by a top-notch detective (plush Catherine Zeta-Jones) and a jealous master thief (well-oiled Vincent Cassel) who wants to prove that team leader Danny Ocean (dapper George Clooney) isn't the best in the field.
